Fugu Fugu Press is a design and print studio based in Altadena, CA run by Shino and Ken Charlson. They've been printing letterpress greeting cards since 2008 featuring adorable critters and sweet sentiments. Life took an unexpected turn recently for The Charlsons; Shino was diagnosed with ovarian and uterine cancer in 2024, and while undergoing treatment, the Eaton fire in Altadena destroyed their home studio. Word got around in the greeting card community, and among the helping hands that reached out with support was that of Tess from Egg Press.
